When you visit Bundsbæk Mølle in Skjern, you get a combined experience of history, cosiness and nature. The old watermill from 1843 revolves merrily around, while the water splashes over the millwheel. In the attic above the mill, the millworker works with flour, while the whole woodwork is crunching when the millwheel is rotating. Inside the cozy mill rooms, the mill lady has coffee and cake ready, which is served at the beautifully covered tables.
Bundsbæk Mølle is part of Ringkøbing-Skjern Museum, where you can experience history where it happened. This museum consists of a series of authentic buildings that all tell the tale of the life lived there throughout the ages and how the landscape shaped them.
