Detailed Frello stories
Discover the subtle works of Otto Frello as Frello expert John V. Jensen guides you through the exhibition.
Otto Frello (1924-2015) was a trained draughtsman and illustrator, and a true master of creating illusions. He painted classically and naturalistically at a time when abstraction and boundary-pushing were the norm and he was perceived as backward-looking and kitsch. Since then, his fan base has grown steadily.
This afternoon you can get up close to the works and learn the stories behind them when curator John V. Jensen takes you on a tour of the exhibition.
