Join an exciting Easter egg hunt at Hjerl Hede – can you find all the eggs hidden in the houses? A small prize awaits!
In the Visitor Centre, the whole family can paint Easter eggs and take them home as a special souvenir.
Explore the museum
Visit our historic homes, from the 1600s Vinkelgården to a 1930s general store. Or experience the museum from a horse-drawn carriage.
On the playground, children can ride a penny-farthing, walk on stilts, play in the mini shop, or take care of wooden animals at the children's miniature farm.
Meet our animals of historical breeds – maybe you’ll even spot an Easter lamb!
Where to eat
Enjoy a meal at Restaurant Skyttegaarden or bring your own food and use the covered picnic house next to the playground.
Free entry for everyone under 18.
Dogs on a leash are also welcome free of charge.
