Generator - Rikke Mach trio

Rikke Mach has just released the critically acclaimed album *Ensom først*, featuring her own new Danish songs. She is joined on the album by two of the country’s most seasoned musicians, Uffe Steen (guitar) and Jens Jefsen (bass).

The style is jazz, but above all it’s about lyrical, musical and human connection as Rikke Mach draws on her stories and interpretations.
At this concert, the trio weaves Rikke Mach’s own Danish songs together with powerful songs from the American songbook. Opposites meet: new and old, Danish and English, and at the heart of that encounter emerges poetically captivating music that gets under your skin.
