Brushøns og Bobler - Birdwatching experience at Værnengene with overnight stay in a Tiny House

Join us on a special stay for bird enthusiasts at one of Denmark's most iconic bird areas – Værnengene near Tipperne. This mini-break combines nature, comfort and exciting birdwatching experiences, with space for only 16 participants.

During your stay, you will sleep in modern Tiny Houses at Bilberghus - Beyond Bed & Breakfast on Holmsland Klit – beautifully located between the North Sea and Ringkøbing Fjord. The houses offer views of the fjord with Tipperne and Værnengene on the horizon.

The trip includes both a guided evening walk and a guided morning walk, so you can experience bird life at different times of the day. Your guide is the highly experienced bird expert Ole Amstrup, who has worked professionally with birds for more than 40 years – including at Tipperne.
In spring, Værnengene is a unique area for wading birds in particular. Here you can see brushane, great snipe, meadow pipit and lapwing – and often birds of prey such as marsh harriers and perhaps white-tailed eagles.

The event includes accommodation, meals and two guided birdwatching tours. The trip is ideal for couples or friends, as the price is based on two people sharing a Tiny House.

Transport between Bilberghus and Værnengene (approx. 15 km) is by car.

10:30 – Guided birdwatching tour at Bjålum Klit (approx. 5–6 km hike)
