Henne Strand offers both the North Sea beach, town life, arts and crafts and shopping. For a gastronomic experience, you will also find Henne Kirkeby in this area, with its fine church and Henne Kirkeby Kro - western Jutland's only gourmet restaurant with two Michelin stars.
When the first bathers arrived at Vejers Strand well over 100 years ago, they had pretty much the whole wide, white sand beach all to themselves, and that’s still the case. Despite the growing interest in the area, Vejers has managed to maintain its calm holiday style with a low pulse.
In Bork Havn you will find sandy beaches for your kids, low bathing waters for the swimmers and the finest surf facilities for the young ones. Here is with other words something for everyone.
Oksbøl and its surroundings offer fantastic nature with large open moorelandscapes, dune plantations and wide sandy beaches. The area also offers historical sights, including the much-visited German refugee cemetery.

Market towns with old cobblestone streets and scenic surroundings
Ringkøbing is very charming market town that goes back to the 15th century. Often this town is called the small capital of West Jutland. Today, this old town is home to busy trade and lots of activities and events, including outdoor serving and trading on the plaza.
Visit the cozy and modern market town of Varde. Today, the city is a mixture of a modern shopping city with a pedestrian street, a town square as meeting point and the old cobbled streets just around the corner.
The inventor Piet Hein lived here for a period of time and his sculptures are some of this town’s highlights. The town has a lively shopping life, the beautiful Skjern River, and on weekends people get together cheering the successful handball team Skjern Håndbold.
Vedersø Klit is one of the most beautiful vacation sites along the Danish west coast. Old building rules ensure harmony and uniformity in this area, which is also famous for being home to one of Denmark’s most famous poets and freedom fighters - Kaj Munk.
There may be several cities that can display a park with a lake, but only Videbæk can boast of having a world-class art museum in the middle of the facility. Videbæk is home to Vestjyllands Kunstpavillon.
Stauning is a small village located in Ringkøbing-Skjern Municipality in West Jutland, Denmark. Stauning is close to Ringkøbing Fjord, which provides scenic surroundings and great opportunities for outdoor activities such as hiking and fishing.
Ølgod is also an ambitious cultural city with significant annual imprints such as the culture days in the autumn. "Skulptur Ølgod" is an association of local enthusiasts who over the years have bought, exhibited and beautified the city with work from well-known artists.
