Vanlife & Barbeque 2025 - Denmark's largest vanlife event

Vanlife is much more than a car that has received a lot of love: Vanlife is a way of life, a way of experiencing nature and surroundings, and a way of being together.

A big part of vanlife is being yourself in nature, being able to make your own decisions, make a plan - or maybe no plan at all. And of course with a good dose of cosiness and togetherness. That's why vanlifers will meet on 15-18 May for Denmark's largest vanlife gathering: Van Life & Barbeque 2025

This is the 5th Van Life & Barbeque at Vejers Strand and interest is high from both Danish and German vanlifers, so much so that it was already sold out in December, but visitors are very welcome to take a walk around the site, enjoy the sight of the many exciting vans and get inspiration from exhibitors.

Once the many vans are parked in the dunes by the roaring North Sea, it's the beginning of three days full of opportunities - barbecue with friends on the large communal barbecues on site, in the big tent for communal dining and delicious food on Friday and Saturday. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings there's a great programme of live music. Cold ice baths and saunas are available in the Saunamobil on the site, both for the early risers and while the sun goes down.

Exhibitors and food trucks have been invited, so inspiration for cool vans, rooftop tents and vanlife gear and cosiness will take centre stage. Vanlife has become a popular way to unwind from everyday life, experience the world and meet each other and, not least, new acquaintances.

Vejers Strand by the North Sea

It all takes place at Vejers Strand Camping, which is the essence of camping on the wild side. Imagine lying in the middle of the dunes or driving your 4WD to the top of a dune and drinking your coffee to the sound of the wind in the seaweed and getting a view of the North Sea. It's camping on the wild side.

The campsite at Vejers Strand is only 100 metres from the sea and is surrounded by 600 hectares of forest. Here you'll find both hilly landscapes and open expanses. Vejers Strand is one of Denmark's best beaches, and when the weather is right, you can jump into the blue waves. You can also drive your van or 4WD onto the beach and if you like water sports, try the south beach. On days with a true westerly wind, there is enough wave action for regular surfing.

Although Vejers Strand Camping is camping on the wild side, the comfort and facilities are modern and top class. You can take a nice hot shower, use the delicious kitchen facilities and cosy outdoor areas.

There's room for everyone: children, dogs, families, friends, lovers, young and old. Everyone who is ready to create great experiences and holiday memories on the wild side in the middle of the beautiful nature of West Jutland.
