For lunch, you can choose from, amongst other things, 9 different open sandwiches, the Emperor’s Steak, Chr. IV’s Plank with local specialities, Von Lügenhals’ Stjerneskud, Karl’s omelette or Von Lügenhals’ Caesar salad.

Von Lügenhals is a truly unique inn and an experience in its own right. We take pride in using the finest local produce. The menu changes regularly to reflect the season and consists of classic dishes with a modern twist.

The whole world of Von Lügenhals is built around an ‘imperial robber’s tale’ – and your imagination is set free in our fantastic setting. Von Lügenhals is situated in the heart of Varde town and forms part of VARDE GARTEN. VARDE GARTEN is a 5,000 m² area with a very special, intimate atmosphere – a little pocket of time. Here we have our lovely Green Courtyard, the Stalls and the beautiful Pavilion, where we host parties and events. We have a small hotel with West Jutland’s most elegant rooms and suites. You’ll also find the Art Garden, where you can admire works of art by renowned artists from Denmark and abroad.
