Flight night at the Danish Aviation Museum
Come and experience the Danish Museum of Flight's exciting collection of military and civilian vintage aircraft in the evening. Weather permitting, museum aircraft will be in the air and you can see them up close and talk to the pilots.
You can take the family by the arm and walk through 3 large halls filled with exciting old aircraft from 120 years of Danish history - from small one-seater experimental aircraft to business jets. All types of fighter planes, helicopters, training aircraft and transport aircraft that are no longer active in the Danish Air Force can be seen up close. Weather permitting, some of the airworthy veteran aircraft are airborne behind the museum for volunteer pilots to maintain their training standard on them. Once parked on the ground, you can get up close and ask questions to the pilots, who are happy to talk about their unique flying machines (many of which are the only one of their kind in the world).
