Udstilling BJARKE REGN SVENDSEN - Detaljens Poesi

On Friday, February 6, JANUS – Museum of Contemporary Art opens its doors to a new season and a brand new exhibition. On this guided tour, you will be taken into the engine room and hear about the ideas behind the hanging, the exhibition work, and much, much more.

Your guide is art historian and museum curator Josephine Nielsen-Bergqvist, who also curated the exhibition.

This year's first exhibition at JANUS pays tribute to artist Bjarke Regn Svendsen (b. 1949) with a major solo exhibition.

Here you will get to know a versatile artist who has managed to reinvent himself throughout his career: Regn has not settled on one style, but approaches painting with curiosity and explores new directions. Common to Regn's works is a special interest in the ordinary and the unstaged.
