What is football golf?

Football golf is the fun combination of football, golf and mini golf. All you need to get started is a good pair of shoes. The aim is simple: get the ball into the hole with as few kicks as possible. The game is easy to learn but difficult to master – and that is exactly what makes it so entertaining for all ages.

Varde Football Golf offers no fewer than 3 different 18-hole football golf courses, making it the largest football golf facility in Denmark. Each course has been designed with variety and enjoyment in mind, featuring challenges suitable for both beginners and experienced players. No prior experience is required – football golf is for everyone, regardless of age or ability.

The facility is beautifully located in the countryside near Varde and features well-designed, well-maintained courses that ensure a high-quality playing experience from the first hole to the last. Pack a picnic basket and enjoy your breaks in the scenic surroundings – either out on the courses or on the terrace and in the clubhouse, which are reserved for paying guests.

One admission ticket gives access to all 3 courses and all facilities – play as many rounds as you like!

Season Pass 2026 – unlimited play from opening in April until and including week 42/43:

Schools and associations: Call to enquire about special rates – lowest prices available Sunday to Thursday (excluding public holidays).

Practical information

Payment: MobilePay or cash – card payments are not accepted.
Walk-ins: Visits are possible without booking – larger groups are encouraged to contact the facility in advance.
Rules: Football boots with studs are not permitted. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed.
Alcohol: A couple of relaxing beers are welcome – intoxicated individuals may be refused entry.

Facilities – the perfect setting for your next event

Whether you are planning a family outing, a corporate event or a birthday celebration, you will find the perfect setting here. The facility offers everything from spacious, bright function rooms to challenging courses and attractive outdoor areas with plenty of space for relaxation and play.

The Clubhouse – function room for up to 100 people

The Clubhouse is the largest venue and serves as the perfect gathering point for larger groups. It offers a spacious, heated room with a welcoming atmosphere.

Capacity: Seating for up to 100 people with quality tables and upholstered chairs.

Comfort and atmosphere: Built-in wood-burning stove creating a warm and inviting ambience.

Kitchen facilities: Fully equipped kitchen with cooker, oven, refrigerators and coffee machines.

Outdoor area: Large covered terrace directly connected to the Clubhouse with ample seating.

The Pavilion – panoramic views and cosy surroundings

If you are a smaller group, the Pavilion is an excellent choice. Here you can enjoy food and company while taking in fantastic views across the entire course area.

Capacity: Space for approximately 35 people.

Kitchen facilities: Private kitchen equipped with a refrigerator, kettle and coffee machines for convenient catering.

Courses and outdoor activities

The courses: 3 different, enjoyable and challenging 18-hole courses.

Course A Pavilion: A practical pavilion located in the middle of Course A – perfect for a short break or shelter should a shower pass through.

Sport and play: Large green areas for free play, including a football pitch with a large, sturdy wall for ball practice.

Equipment: Ball storage area where footballs, scorecards and pencils are ready and waiting.

Relaxation: Sturdy benches are placed throughout the facility, ensuring there is always somewhere to sit and rest.

Practical information and barbecue areas

Hosting events is made easy with a focus on accessibility and comfort.

Parking: Excellent parking facilities located close to all amenities.

Toilets: 7 clean and well-maintained toilets, including accessible facilities for disabled guests.

Free-to-use barbecues: Several Weber barbecues and chimney starters are available (simply bring your own charcoal and firelighters).

Gas barbecue hire: For an even easier solution, a gas barbecue can be hired when booking your event. (Price: DKK 50–100 depending on size and quantity.)
