Varde Å is one of Denmark’s longest water stream and is situated in the beautiful, Danish nature. There are great opportunities for fishing in the water stream or for enjoying the amazing wildlife.
Varde Å runs from Ansager to Ho Bugt. The stream is Denmark’s 4th longest water stream and has a total length of approx. 40 km. The 10 km long stretch in the end of the stream is the tidal zone. The fishing here is best when the water falls in Ho Bay. This part is with open grassy plains with a rich bird life and the stream has been selected as an EU habitat area.
