Von Lügenhals is a truly unique restaurant and an experience in its own right. We place great importance on using the finest regional ingredients. The menu changes regularly, is tailored to the season and consists of classic dishes with a modern twist.

The entire world of Von Lügenhals is based on an imperial bandit tale – and in our fantastical setting, there are no limits to the imagination. Von Lügenhals is situated in the heart of the town of Varde and forms part of VARDE GARTEN. VARDE GARTEN is a 5,000 m² site with a very special, intimate atmosphere – a little time capsule. Here you’ll find our beautiful Grønne Gårdhave, the Boderne and the lovely pavilion, where we host celebrations and events. We have a small hotel with the most elegant rooms and suites in West Jutland. There’s also the Kunsthaven, where you can admire works of art by renowned artists from Denmark and abroad.
