Midsommer

"Midsommer" was built by Jens Lund in 1936, and erected at the entrance to the facility in Videbæk in 1973.

"Midsummer" is a beautiful granite sculpture by local native Jens Lund.

It was built in 1936, and originally stood at the Statens Museum for Kunst. The sculpture was long-term lent in connection with Jens Lund's 100th birthday in 1973 to Videbæk. Therefore, the sculpture is today erected at the entrance to the facility in Videbæk.

Jens Lund's daughter Johanne was a model for the sculpture "Midsummer".
