Outdoor swimming pool in Ringkøbing Fjord

Neptun’s fjord swimming course is 500 metres long, with 100 metres between each buoy, making it easy to keep track of the distance – whether you’re training or simply enjoying a swim in the calm waters of the fjord.
The course is located off the jetty by the motorhome site at Ringkøbing harbour.
The course is free for everyone to use.
For safety reasons, it is important:

• That the orange swimming flag is hoisted on the flagpole by the jetty whilst swimming, so that sailors and others on the water can see that there are swimmers in the fjord.
• That you always swim with a safety buoy, so that you are visible and have extra buoyancy should the need arise.

If you’d like to make even more use of the facilities, you can join Neptun Fjord Swimmers and Winter Bathers for the summer season. As a member, you’ll have access to the club’s swimming facilities and cosy clubhouse.
