Freshly made sushi in the heart of Skjern

Skjern Sushi opened on 18 August 2026 and is our newest restaurant under Kokoro Sushi I/S. The restaurant builds on the same concept and values that we have been working with for many years at Ringkøbing Sushi.

At Skjern Sushi, we focus on freshly prepared food, high-quality ingredients, great flavour and a cosy dining experience for both local guests and visitors to the area.

We offer both Ad Libitum / All You Can Eat sushi and sushi takeaway in Skjern. The restaurant has 62 seats, so there’s plenty of space for families, friends, couples and larger groups.

With our all-you-can-eat concept, you can choose from a wide selection of sushi, nigiri, maki, hot dishes and side dishes.

The food is prepared continuously and as close to the time of ordering as possible. For us, good sushi is all about freshness, quality and the balance between rice, fish, vegetables, texture and flavour.

We want the ingredients to be allowed to taste of what they are, rather than the food being smothered in large amounts of sauce and dressing.

More than just sushi – Thai curry and udon

At Skjern Sushi, you’ll also find a range of hot dishes if you fancy something other than sushi or would like to combine different dishes.

We offer, amongst other things, Thai curry and udon with various options such as vegetables, chicken, beef and prawns.

This means there’s something to suit a range of tastes, whether you’re coming for sushi, a hot dish or a bit of everything.

If you’d rather eat at home, we naturally also offer sushi takeaway in Skjern.

You can choose from our range of sushi dishes, set menus and hot dishes, and take the food home to share with family, friends or for a cosy evening.

Part of Kokoro Sushi I/S

Skjern Sushi is part of Kokoro Sushi I/S, which also runs Ringkøbing Sushi.

Ringkøbing Sushi opened on 9 December 2016, and after almost 10 years serving sushi in Ringkøbing, we took the next step and opened Skjern Sushi on 18 August 2026.

Although the restaurants have their own names and are located in different towns, they are based on the same concept and the same philosophy.
