Lyngvig Fyr (Lighthouse)

The area around Lyngvig Lighthouse offers many adventures apart from enjoying the spectacular view of the sea, the fjord, and the landscape below. There’s also great parking and the possibility of taking a stroll down to the beach or up the dunes.

If you follow the winding stairs up the lighthouse, you will be rewarded with a breathtaking view of the sea and the fjord.
You can drop by the old lighthouse master house, which now functions as café, shop, and exhibitory building. Outside you’ll find hammocks, public restrooms, tables with benches, and a large naturethemed playground.

Visit the cozy café and the museum shop, which offers a wide variety of fun retro merchandise, nostalgic craftsmanship, and beautiful old furniture. So take a seat in the café or in the yard and enjoy some ice cream, coffee, cake, light lunch, and cold beer.
There’s free access to the shop, café, and exhibition – a ticket is only required to visit the lighthouse. Remember that kids and teenagers until the age of 18 are free of charge when accompanying an adult.

Throughout the year there are several events here such as koncerts, fashion shows, art shows and other events.
There is wheelchair access to the lighthouse master’s house, including the café and shop, and the paving in the yard is wheelchair friendly as well. There is also a restroom for the disabled.
