"Esehusene" in Nymindegab
The "Esehusene" are situated below Nymindegab Kro. The houses were used for fishing equipment and as home for the women "esepigerne" who were reparing the fishing equipment and preparing the bait (in Danish=Es). Today you can see identical "Esehuse" in the museum "Frilandsmuseet" in Copenhagen.

Værnengene
Værnengene is the southern part of the Tipperne peninsula in the southern part of Ringkøbing Fjord. The nature is under conservation and the area is all year round a true paradise for birds.

Nymindegab Beach
Take a trip to Nymindegab Beach, a lovely sandy beach at the North Sea, near Nørre Nebel, Denmark. The beach has a blue fag, indicating a good swimming experience in the ocean.

The old life-saving station of Nymindegab
At Nymindegab Lifeboat Museum, you can experience how the rescue service worked until 1975. It is possible to inspect both the rescue service's equipment and means of transport.

Lydum Watermill and Power-station
Since 1903, Lydum's old watermill has been used for electricity production for the local community around the mill.

Naturpark Vesterhavet
The North Sea Nature Park extends over an area of 22,500 hectares along the coast from Blåvands Huk to Nymindegab. The area has fantastic and varied nature from the North Sea, the white sand beaches and dune landscapes to forests, moorland and lakes.

At Dyrehaven Engholm you can get up close to the animals. The whole family can enjoy a cosy day together and slow down.
Did you bring the family's best friend?
In the dog woods, you can let the dog run freely, provided that you have full control over the dog. And during the winter season from 1 October to 31 March, it is also allowed on a number of Danish beaches to let the dog loose. However, this does not apply everywhere, so keep an eye on the signs in the area you are visiting.

Nymindegab Dog Forest
Walk your dog in beautiful surroundings in Nymindegab Dog Forest. At the car park there are tables, benches and a toilet. The paths in the plantation are narrow and uneven, and are therefore not recommended for wheelchairs and prams.

Nørre Nebel Dog Forest
Cozy little dog forest, located near Nørre Nebel. The forest is 1.4 hectares and is fenced. The size corresponds to approx. to 2 football pitches, why there is enough space to let your dog go exploring. However, it can sometimes get a little swampy, which is why proper footwear is recommended.
