The beach by Blåvandshuk Lighthouse is a large, wide sandy beach overlooking the Horns Rev wind farm. The beach is located in a large holiday area with summer cottages and in a military exercise area.

Bordrup-Oksby Dune Plantation
Bordrup Dune Plantation is a beautiful nature area, close to Oksbøl, Blåvand and Vejers. Here, you will find fun activities for your entire family. Go for a spin on your mountain bike, take your dog for a walk, have fun on the forest playground or toast a marshmallow on a bonfire.

Naturpark Vesterhavet
The North Sea Nature Park extends over an area of 22,500 hectares along the coast from Blåvands Huk to Nymindegab. The area has fantastic and varied nature from the North Sea, the white sand beaches and dune landscapes to forests, moorland and lakes.
Did you bring the family's best friend?
In the dog woods, you can let the dog run freely, provided that you have full control over the dog. And during the winter season from 1 October to 31 March, it is also allowed on a number of Danish beaches to let the dog loose. However, this does not apply everywhere, so keep an eye on the signs in the area you are visiting.

The dog forest in Oksby Klitplantage by Blåvand offers beautiful nature and good conditions for you and your dog. The fine fencing allows you to release the dog with a clear conscience and let it roam free.
