Alslev Church
Alslev Church: In late medieval times the church belonged to the episcopal manor of Visselbjerg, situated in the parish of Alslev.

Ansager Church
Ansager church is from the 13th century. Romanesque chancel and nave. In 1775 was added a tower and spire. In the tower room are the church's only frescoes, painted by the "Lily master-painter". Because of religious revival the church was extended in 1889 with two crucifix arms.

Børsmose Church
Unique beautiful white church of brick, with a special calm and harmony. Børsmose Church is fantastically located on the West Jutland heath, and has an exciting history, which is clearly reflected in the church.

Bejsnap Church
Bejsnap Kirke is built in 1892. The altarpiece from 1915 has a painting of " The Good shepherd " by Joakim Skovgaard. The first organ was bought in 1917 and is in an organ loft on the west side of the church.

Borris Church
A church with a late Gothic steeple and porch. The tower has four gables in the Ribe area known as the 'Toerninglenske type'. The pulpit and the parish chair are assembled from late Gothic material. The north wall of the nave is also late Gothic, but the big crucifix is from young Gothic style.

Bølling Church
The church at Bølling is made in Romanesque design and dated back to the 12th century. In the Middle Ages, the church was consecrated to John the Baptist. The church is situated up hill with a clear view of the valley of Skjern-Å.

Brejning Church
The Church of Brejning originally consisted of a nave and a choir both in Romanesque design. During the Late Gothic period, the tower(west) and the porch(north) have been added to the church.

Billum Church
Billum church is one of the Ribe diocese's tufa churches. Late Romanesque aspe, chancel and nave. late medieval vestry and porch.

Dejbjerg Church
The Dejbjerg Church main building dates from the Romanesque period which includes the southern door and the bricked up northern door.

Egvad Church
From about 1150-1200. The church is made from granite. The pulpit and the altarpiece are from 1600. The ends of the chairs are with carved wood from 1500. You also find arches in the church. The church is open, when the sexton is present.

Faster Church
The main part of the building, chancel and nave - both with lead roof are from the Romanesque period - while the tower has been added in 1926. Altarpiece and pulpit are from the late 1500.

Fjelstervang Church
The Church of Fjelstervang (1898) is one out of many churches from the period where people cultivated the moor in the western part of Jutland.

Gl. Sogn Church
Gl. Sogn church is from 1175 and is situated close to Ringkøbing Fjord. Untill 1847 tower and stepple were about 12 metres higher.

Helligånds Church Hvide Sande
Newer church with the only votive ship in Denmark. Hvide Sande is "new" town and the same for the church.

Haurvig Church
A few kilometers south of Hvide Sande you will find Haurvig Church, which is beautifully situated on a low dune bank towards Ringkøbing Fjord.

Hee Church
Hee Church, with its distinctive tower, is one of the country's most significant Romanesque buildings, despite a heavy-handed restoration in 1882-84.

Hellig Kors Monastery
Hellig Kors Kloster on Dejbjerg Hede, despite its appearance is also from the 20th century, but are built in boulders almost independently by a priest from the area with the help of volunteers.

Hemmet Church
Romanesque choir and nave, gothic sacristy and tower. Romanesque font, altar piece from about 1500. Pulpit from before 1600. The Renaissance pulpit is a magnificent piece of carving handicraft - carved in acanthus leafs.

Herborg Church
The church was built during 1898-99 and was consecrated 19th March 1899. The church was designed by the architect V.

Henne Church
Henne Church was built in the second half of the 12th century, probably by the Ribe bishop Elias, who owned Hennegård, an episcopal estate until the Reformation. The church has an exciting history, which is reflected both inside and out.

Ho Church
Ho Church is a Romanesque church, built of monk stone and built in the mid-15th century. The church has one of Denmark's oldest nave from around the beginning of the 17th century, and is beautifully situated in the western part of Ho.

Horne Church

Hoven Church
Middle Age Church originally Romanesque style. Beautiful village church with a late gothic wing altar piece from about 1450. Nice carving work. Church bell from 1200s. The church is last restored in 1987.

Nørre Nebel Church

No Church
Built in 1877 by architect J. B. Loeffler. Red brick in neo-Romanesque style with ornamental pilaster strips an round arch friezes. Slate roof. Tower in pyramid shape.

Nr. Bork Church
Built approxmately 1200. The church is consecrated to Sct. Anna. Altapiece and pulpit from about 1600. The noble chairs are dated back to 1652. Ole Borch (dead 1690) known doctor and donor of legacy (Borchs College in Copenhagen) is born in the old vicrage in the parish.

Lyngvig Church
Stories from the life at the sea. North of Hvide Sande is Nr. Lyngvig Church which were inaugurated in 1869. The church is romanesque in red bricks with slate roof in a low pitch.

Nørre Omme Church
This is a typical medieval church from 1150; it is made of granite squares and thatched with lead. In the Late Middle Ages, a lead thatched tower was added to the church.

Ny Sogn Church
One of Denmarks largest village churches.The church was built in 1225 and is both romanesque and early gothic. It is the fourth or fifth largest village in Denmark and also the most peculiar.

Outrup Church
Outrup Church: Consecrarted to St. Bartholomew ca 1350. Romanesque chancel and nave. The Aspe and tower were added in late medieval times. The porch is from 1870.

Sønder Lem Church
This large Romanesque Church in granite ashlar form the 1100s has an unusually picturesque position on the hill island with a view over most of Ringkoebing Fjord.

Sct. Jacobi Church
Sct. Jacobi Church was probably built between the years 1150 and 1225, and is a very historic and beautiful church, which occupies the center of Varde. The church has regularly undergone renovations, but looks great with older artifacts, such as the altarpiece and the baptismal font.

Sdr Bork Church
The most northern situated tufa church. The nave was built in the 12th century. Chanel and tower are late medieval and the altarpiece from 1500. The font is made of romanesque granite. The pulpit is made by Chr. Teilman in 1739. Large renovation in 1972-75.

Norman Church from the 10th. century.

Skovlund Church
Skovlund Church was concrated Oct. 1910. Inspired by Danish Medieval architecture. The chancel is apsidal. The tower is in the west end.

Sædding Church
The church is in Romanesque design, built in the 12th century. In the Middle Ages, the church was consecrated to St. Laurentius. The brickwork is made out of nicely cut ashlar on a plinth.

Tistrup Church
Tistrup Chuch: The original Romanesque ashlar church was presumably built in the 12th century. In Medieval times it was extended westwards, and the late Medieval tower and porch were added before the vaults were built and decorated by the "Lily master-painter."

New church from 1912. The church was founded August 19 1911 and one year late the church was ready for use. In 1965-67 the church was renovated and extended.

Årre Church
Årre Church has a Romanesque chancel and nave and a late Gothic tower. A restoration took place in 1882 and in 1930. The pulpit is from 1682 and very beautiful.

Aal Church
The Church of Aal was consecrated to St. Nicholas, built of ashlar and tufa and dating from about 1200. Extended several times, the latest addition being the tower at the time of the Reformation. Known for its romanesque frescoes uncovered and restored in the 1880s.
